The shader fixes the problem of stretched and distorted textures on slopes of a standard terrain. It uses the triplanar texturing technique instead of planar UV mapping. It gives smooth and detailed textures on vertical surfaces.

The package includes:

  • a terrain material for desktop (Shader Model 3.0),
  • a terrain material for mobile (Shader Model 2.0),
  • an example of a terrain with the material applied,
  • a short manual.
